So we had to buy more space on WordPress because I maxed out the one gig you get for free. The app is wonky so Cameron had to do what ever it is he does to get the app working on my phone again so I can continue uploading content. Picking up where I left off…
Engraving Acrylic. We expect improvement once the laser alignment is fine tuned. Now we know not to engrave on the blue masking. Accurate and clean cut for 4.5” square template! Out of sequence in that we did the engraving next. The unicorn. No one we spoke with while shopping for a laser would commit to their laser being able to cut 100% white cotton without charring. It took two minutes for us to dial it in. Again for my sewing friends-this is of interest. I’m going to be able to make the fish I’ve been hoping to make! The denim engraving didn’t go well-too much wattage. We will try at lower power settings until we get it right. Close up of fabric cuts-incredibly clean! Also closeups of the acrylic template. Close up of cut edges on acrylic
It looks like all of the silly ads are removed with the upgrade to 6 gigs. This will be nice as I transition the blog from the build (not just yet but soon) to the makes. Cameron said he feels like he’s at 97% now. Those last three percentage points…they’re still out there, but we are operational!
Wow, so cool! It looks like you’re going to be putting that bad boy to good use in no time! I can’t wait to see where your imagination goes with this…..
I did see that! I don’t want Ed getting any ideas, lol!

Cameron’s Rezo Laser Build
LOL! A lot of areas have shared maker spaces where you can join the community for a nominal fee and use the equipment. It’s not as convenient as having it at home but it saves a lot of money!
