Hey everybody! I’m back with good news! Cameron sleuthed through the electrical issues with the garage door and it’s working smoothly! It also moves quickly!

I pilfered some of what would have been productive time from him to cut some fabric for some quilt projects I’m working on. I tried cutting one out all by hand but I just can’t cut teeny pieces at 1 7/8” square with consistency. When pieces are that small every hair’s width you’re off aggregates with each piece and in the end your seams don’t intersect. The laser is reliably accurate so then the rest is up to me to sew straight and at a strict 1/4”. So that took time away from the build but Cameron did get some shingles cut for the roof as you’ll see.

Man cannot live on craft alone so, I made another sourdough loaf.

We are hopeful to finish the garage next weekend. It’s a long weekend made one day longer as Cameron took Friday off. Yay! We love a long weekend around here.
