Tedium

Greetings all, I hope everyone is safe out there; really dangerous weather for so many folks this week. I hope you and yours are all doing well.

This weekend was the beginning of the wiring of the electrical panel. When Cameron complains of tedium I KNOW it’s over the top. He says he’s 40ish percent of the way done with it. Photo below.

Wiring of the electrical panel thus far

Each wire has to be labeled so if/when something needs to be replaced you don’t have to take the whole thing apart guessing which wire controls what part. I’m not sure I would have thought to do that. I hope so but…it’s iffy.

Cameron also 3D printed a frame for the control panel. If you look at the original Rezo plans you’ll see that the control panel lies flat. Cameron didn’t think I’d be able to see the control panel if it was flat because I’m only 5’2” (but I’m 5’3.5” in sneakers ????) and someone else in the REZO community had shared their design for a 3D printed frame so the panel sits upright. Thank you to who ever that was; it’s another example of how everyone contributes to the pool of knowledge to make everyone’s build an easier experience. Control panel below.

So that’s where we are; it looks like another weekend of wiring lies ahead. I asked Cameron on Saturday morning if I was going to feel the wind in my hair by Sunday night. He said it would be breezy, but not gusty.

What I got.

What I want ????.

Until next week, stay safe out there!

That just boggles my mind! I doubt if I would have thought about labeling that either, so don’t feel too bad!
